DAECHANG was founded in 1989 as DAECHANG Mold Co., Ltd. Starting as a manufacturer of parts and molds for home appliances and automobiles, it has grown into a comprehensive maker covering mold production, component manufacturing, assembly processing, functional assemblies, and OEM products.

In refrigerator shelf manufacturing, DAECHANG was the first in Korea to develop and patent glass-integrated injection molding technology and bring it into mass production. It also successfully localized refrigerator ice makers and grew into Korea's leading ice-maker manufacturer. Continuous product improvement and development through the DAECHANG Technology Institute are another source of pride.

Consumer preferences are becoming increasingly diverse, demand for products that enable more convenient living is higher than ever, and expectations for environmentally friendly products continue to grow.
